A wise old owl lived in an oak,
The more he saw, the less he spoke
The less he spoke, the more he heard,
Now, wasn’t he a wise old bird?
I chose this nursery rhyme because it seems to have quite a sinister undertone. Owls are usually associated with darkness, and the rhyme suggests the idea of trauma, or alternatively that of evil intent.
